Phone menus, not a receptionist

Answer every call with a shallow IVR, then ring the owner or take a message.

Ringnoted is a phone assistant for freelancers and SMBs. Callers press keys, wait for you, or leave a message after hours. It is not a conversational AI receptionist.

What Ringnoted is

Three shallow call flows. Nothing that pretends to be an agent.

A

DTMF menus

Play a prompt, collect keypad digits, and route to the next menu, owner, or message. Callers stay in a numbered tree.

B

Ring owner, then message

Try the owner first. If nobody answers, take a recorded message and stop. No back-and-forth chat.

C

After-hours message + notify

Outside business hours, record the caller and notify the owner. SMS, email, and push are delivered later by ringnoted-notify.

Presets, not prompts

Configure a tree. Do not train a persona.

The later dashboard will edit presets A, B, and C. This scaffold stops before that editor and before Twilio. ringnoted-api is the only public HTTP edge. There is no Ringnoted browser SDK.

Product boundary

Not a conversational receptionist.

Ringnoted does not hold an open dialogue, invent answers, or replace a human receptionist. Telephony carriers and realtime-voice products stay separate. This site authenticates through website-auth-sdk and the same-origin /api/auth facade.
